In the book, Create Abundance by Zhang Xinyue the author shows us the steps to defeating a sense of shame. We discover how this comes on us as young people, but we never deal with the ugliness. We brush it under the rug and in doing so, we may pass this on to our children and other family members.

As young people, we may disappoint our folks. Despite that fact, children should be forgiven of these flaws. It’s very common for kids to disobey their parents. They may not do their homework or keep their room clean, but this does not make them bad children. They are committing ordinary misdeeds that all kids do.

Though parents do get angry with their children, they must remember to reinforce love and forgiveness to children. These little events that happen in childhood can challenge us at some stage of our lives. We can be impacted more than we think.

The feeling of shame often starts in early life and can stay around for a long time. As grown-ups, we should deal with these aspects of our lives and make modifications. We must see ourselves as good human beings who deserve the best that life has to offer.

After you attain maturity, take a look at your innermost thoughts and try to find those areas where you may have a sense of disgrace. We know these areas can make us unhappy. Identify them and then forgive yourself. We’re all allowed to make errors. No one should be expected to be perfect in every way.

Zhang Xinyue offers many other teachings in the book, Create Abundance. Below is a quote from her book:

“Creating abundance empowers you to pursue what you need and desire, thus making you unfearful of the unknown.”
